1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, downloading, or using TodoAid (the "Service"), whether through our mobile application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TodoAid.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service. Your continued use of the Service constitutes your acceptance of any modifications to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

TodoAid is a productivity and habit-tracking application designed to help users organize their daily lives, build better habits, and achieve their goals.

Core Features Include:

Task management with subtasks and categories
Habit tracking with daily check-ins
Weekly and monthly planning tools
Customizable lists and templates
Daily note-taking with mood tracking
Smart reminders and notifications
Optional cloud sync across devices
Pre-built templates for various routines

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or functionality of the Service at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Registration

To access certain features (such as cloud sync and premium features), you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Not impersonate any person or entity
  • Not create multiple accounts for abusive purposes

3.2 Account Security

Your Responsibility:

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (email and password) and for all activities that occur under your account, whether authorized by you or not.

You must immediately notify us at dev.nasir.k@gmail.com of any unauthorized use of your account or any other security breach.

3.3 Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years old to use TodoAid. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service and that they have read and agreed to these Terms.

4. User Content and Conduct

4.1 Ownership of Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or store in TodoAid, including tasks, habits, notes, lists, and any other personal data ("User Content").

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, display, and transmit your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. We will not use your User Content for any other purpose without your explicit consent.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

Illegal Activity: Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws

Unauthorized Access: Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, user accounts, or related systems

Service Disruption: Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks

Reverse Engineering: Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the app

Automated Access: Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, spiders) to access the Service

Malicious Content: Upload viruses, malware, or any harmful code

Abusive Behavior: Harass, threaten, abuse, or harm other users or our staff

Fraudulent Use: Create fake accounts, manipulate usage metrics, or engage in fraud

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate termination of your account and potential legal action.

5. Premium Subscription

5.1 Free and Premium Tiers

TodoAid offers both free and premium features. The free tier provides core functionality, while the premium tier unlocks additional features:

Free Tier Includes:

  • Unlimited tasks and habits (local storage)
  • Basic notifications and reminders
  • Daily note-taking
  • Basic templates

Premium Tier Adds:

  • Cloud sync across all devices
  • Unlimited custom lists and plans
  • Advanced analytics and insights
  • Priority customer support
  • Ad-free experience
  • Premium templates and themes

5.2 Beta Period Promotion

Limited Time Offer:

During our beta period (until July 1, 2025), all premium features are available free of charge to early adopters. After the beta period ends, premium features will require a paid subscription. Beta users will receive advance notice before any charges apply.

5.3 Subscription Plans and Pricing

TodoAid Pro is available through the following subscription options:

5.4 Billing and Payment Terms

  • Payment Processing: Premium subscriptions are processed through Apple In-App Purchase (for iOS app) via RevenueCat subscription management service. Your Apple ID account will be charged.
  • Auto-Renewal: Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
  • Lifetime Purchase: The lifetime access option is a one-time purchase that provides permanent access to TodoAid Pro features with no recurring charges.
  • Price Changes: Subscription prices may change with 30 days advance notice to existing subscribers. New prices will apply to renewals after the notice period.
  • Cancellation: Cancel your subscription anytime through your Apple ID settings: Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iOS device. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You'll retain premium access until the period ends.
  • Managing Subscriptions: Access subscription management through the app's Customer Center (Menu → Premium) or through your Apple ID account settings.
  • No Pro-Rating: No refunds or credits will be issued for partial subscription periods if you cancel mid-cycle. You'll have access until the end of the paid period.

5.5 Refund Policy

Refund requests for App Store purchases are governed by Apple's refund policy. To request a refund:

  • Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
  • Sign in with your Apple ID
  • Find your TodoAid purchase and request a refund
  • Refund decisions are made by Apple, not TodoAid

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Rights

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all software, code, design, graphics, user interface, logos, trademarks, and documentation, are owned by TodoAid or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the Service without our explicit written permission. The TodoAid name and logo are trademarks and may not be used without permission.

6.2 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the TodoAid mobile application for your personal, non-commercial use.

6.3 User Feedback

If you provide feedback, suggestions, ideas, or feature requests about TodoAid, you grant us the right to use, modify, and incorporate them into the Service without compensation, attribution, or any obligation to you. We appreciate your input in helping us improve!

7. Disclaimers and Limitations

7.1 "As-Is" Service

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. You use the Service at your own risk.

7.2 No Medical, Professional, or Financial Advice

TodoAid is a productivity tool only and is NOT a substitute for professional advice of any kind.

  • Not Medical Advice: Templates related to health, pregnancy, baby care, or wellness are for informational and organizational purposes only. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • Not Mental Health Support: Mood tracking features are not therapeutic tools. If you are experiencing mental health concerns, please seek help from licensed professionals.
  • Not Financial Advice: Any budgeting or financial planning templates are general organizational tools and not professional financial advice.

7.3 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TODOAID AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of data, revenue, profits, business, or anticipated savings
  • Damage to reputation or goodwill
  • Service interruptions or downtime
  • Errors, bugs, or security vulnerabilities
  • Actions or content of third parties

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

7.4 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TodoAid and its affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any rights of another party, or (d) your User Content.

8. Termination

8.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon account deletion:

  • Your cloud-synced data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
  • Your subscription (if any) will be canceled at the end of the billing period
  • Your locally stored data (on your device) will remain until you uninstall the app

8.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms or our policies
  • Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • Non-payment of subscription fees
  • Prolonged inactivity (account dormancy for over 24 months)
  • Requests from law enforcement or legal obligations

8.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution) will remain in effect.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Your use of TodoAid is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.

By using the Service, you consent to our collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy. Please review it carefully to understand our data practices.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or operational needs. When we make changes:

  • We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
  • For significant changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notification
  • We will post the new Terms on our website and in the app
  • The updated Terms will take effect 7 days after posting (or immediately for legal/security reasons)

Your continued use of TodoAid after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Service and may delete your account.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where TodoAid operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11.2 Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service:

  1. Informal Resolution: We encourage you to contact us first at dev.nasir.k@gmail.com to attempt to resolve the issue informally.
  2. Arbitration: If informal resolution fails, you agree that disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except where prohibited by law.
  3. Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis only and waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations.

11.3 Jurisdiction and Venue

To the extent arbitration does not apply, you agree that any legal action or proceeding shall be brought exclusively in the courts of competent jurisdiction, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
